Natalia Baranowska (b. 1999, Poland)

is a London based painter. She completed her MA in Painting at the Royal College of Art in 2025, following a Graduate Diploma in Art & Design at the RCA and a BA in Architecture at Central Saint Martins, London.

Her first solo exhibition, Emergence, was presented at The Loom Club, London (2025). She has participated in group exhibitions including 17 Points of Departure at Safehouse 2, The Truth is a Blur in Motion at POSK, and Invisible Exhibition at the RCA Hockney Gallery.
Her work has been featured in Plaster Magazine, Mint Magazine, and the digital publication Across Over, curated by the HSBC Art Collection and RCA jurors.

Her practice explores space as a dynamic and unstable construct, focusing on the tension between abstraction and representation. She is most interested in moments of surprise within her paintings, where images hover between the readable and unreadable. Through layering, scraping, and reworking oil, acrylic, and marble dust, she creates surfaces that reflect both intention and chance, embracing ambiguity as central to her process.
